Yes, it’s a fact, the music duo, Ngoni is a bonafide celebrated group with a strong pedigree as one of the pacesetters of Ugandan music space. Like I said a few months ago, the history of Ugandan music can’t be written to the compilation without mentioning these guys.
They created many hit songs like Ndiku Digi, Sirimba, Bigula, Nina Omwami featuring Desire Luzinda, and many more. Years after working together as a group and chalking many successes, the duo went on a break to concentrate on other businesses – they never retired, they have been working.
Last year in December, they surprised us with a catchy Christmas single dubbed ‘Ssekukulu Best‘ a piece that made it to some of the official music charts in the space, and little did we know that they were planning on a body of work, a quality album titled ”Christmas in mama land”
To make our holidays better, Ngoni has today launched their twelve-track Christmas album which comprises both worships and praises pieces that seek to inspire, motivate and bless gospel lovers and everyone out there. The multi-genre album is an artistic knit of Afro-pop and Spontaneous Worship styles presented with a modern Ugandan appeal
