The film and cultural week supports people with dreams in Film,culture,fashion and make up. The event has been in campaign for 2 months as it was advocating and requesting people to submit their works in order to feature on the events schedule.
The event that kicked off on Friday 28th May and was closed on Sunday 30th May was graced by attendances from the US ambassador H.E Natalie Brown, Operation Wealth Creation representative General Kayanja, the ED of Uganda National Cultural Centre and other stakeholders of the art sector.
First day of the event had exhibitors from all walks of life, from established custume and Props designer like Nelly Salvatore,Pearl screen pictures,movie schools like the Kampala film school, jewellery makers and taekwondo players, we also saw dancers and other lots of activities took place.
The organizers also launched the Kampala film development foundation regional clubs that will be taken to schools throughout the whole country for easy communication and nurturing of students with dreams of being part of the next film and culture edition that’s happening in 2022.
The brain behind KFDF Mr.Godfrey Musinguzi later introduced his team to the crowd. The team that made it possible for the event to come out as colourful as it was. Thanked them for the work well done and promised them to buckle up and as a lot was still coming their way. We also here to see what more is coming through as we wait for the next edition.
